Ex-Works 2025 opens in Älmhult!

The exhibition Ex-Works 2025 showcases nearly 60 design and furniture projects by recent graduates from the country’s five leading design schools. It is a continuation of the previous design student exhibitions shown at the Furniture Design Museum in Stockholm.

After IKEA acquired the museum’s collections in 2024, the exhibition now finds a new home in Älmhult. The participating schools are Konstfack, Malmstens and Beckmans in Stockholm, HDK-Valand in Gothenburg, and HDK-Valand Campus Steneby in Dals Långed.

Through the exhibition, a wider audience will now have the opportunity to experience innovative projects created by the new generation, before they break through on a larger scale. At the same time, the exhibition Classics & Icons will showcase 99 iconic products from the Museum of Furniture Studies' collection.
