Lovisa Alsberg holds a bachelor’s degree in Interior Architecture and Furniture Design from Konstfack University of Arts, Crafts and Design in Stockholm (2022–2025). In the autumn of 2024, she completed an exchange semester at the Royal Danish Academy in Copenhagen. Prior to her bachelor’s, she studied design with a focus on wood at Nyckelviksskolan, Lidingö (2021–2022). Her graduation piece, Flotte, was exhibited at the Museum of Furniture Studies in 2022. Her degree project, Staged Dining (Det dukade rummet), explores how the dining table can serve as a stage for social interaction. Through spatial experiments and participatory workshops, the project examines the table as both a symbol and a setting for collective experience. Staged Dining aims to spark curiosity and foster a more playful and liberated approach to the shared meal, encouraging a reconsideration of established rituals, roles and behaviours around the table.
