In late August, the Museum of Furniture Studies hosted a matchmaking event between the young designers featured in the Ex-Works 2025 exhibition and representatives from the Swedish furniture industry.
During Stockholm Design Days in early February, Jonatan Jahn, Head of Collections at the Museum of Furniture Studies, took part in a panel discussion about the Swedish design heritage.
Danish designer and artist Nanna Ditzel collaborated closely with her husband, Jørgen Ditzel, from 1946 to 1956. Together they created innovative furniture and jewelry, including the iconic Ring Chair, which became a hallmark of Danish modern design. During the 1970s and 1980s, Ditzel lived and worked in London, where she expanded her creative practice to include textile design, further cementing her reputation as a versatile and forward-thinking designer.
