Feliz Suarez M. Torsson holds a bachelor’s degree in Interior Architecture and Furniture Design from Konstfack University of Arts, Crafts and Design in Stockholm, and has also studied at Parsons School of Design in New York. She previously completed a two-year foundation at Nyckelviksskolan, where she explored art, craft, design and architecture. Her guiding motto, “Tellus as playground”, reflects a vision where art, science, nature and politics intersect in the investigation of both visible and invisible structures – as well as their functions and dysfunctions. Feliz Torsson’s practice is rooted in the belief that spatial design can serve as a vessel for critical social inquiry, while also emphasising form, materiality and spatial expression. She works at the intersection of exhibition design, scenography, and temporary or undefined spaces, often using them as platforms for storytelling, dialogue and shared experience. Her work aims to amplify undercurrents, invite multiple readings and create spaces that are not only used, but inhabited as living, thinking environments. She is currently working as an artist assistant.
