A few years ago, I worked at a furniture design store called Sparsmakat in my hometown of Skövde. That’s where I discovered my passion for furniture and decided to pursue a career in the field. In 2021–2022, I studied woodworking at Tibro Hantverksakademi and earned a diploma. Since 2022, I have been studying furniture design at Malmstens Linköping University, and I look forward to receiving my bachelor’s degree in the summer of 2025. In autumn 2024, I completed a five-week internship through Malmstens at MER Arkitekter on Söder Mälarstrand in Stockholm. During my time there, I met many kind, knowledgeable people and gained valuable insights into what it’s like to work at a firm of architects. As a designer, I am driven by curiosity –especially when it comes to exploring beautiful new design possibilities and working with sustainable, natural materials. I tend to focus heavily on materials and details in my projects, as that’s often where I find my inspiration and the starting point for my creative process.
