Alexandra Lindmark is a designer based in Stockholm with roots in Sweden, Italy and Finland. With a background in marketing and digital design, she later turned to hands-on craft and furniture making – seeking a more tactile, meaningful process.
Recently graduated from Malmstens with a bachelor’s in Furniture Design, Alexandra Lindmark explores how design can balance form, function and sustainability. Her work often begins with a material curiosity or a direct problem to solve, and evolves into pieces that aim to enrich everyday life but also invite emotional connection. Her debut furniture piece Stilla, a sculptural bench in pine created in collaboration with Malmstens and Stolab, was showcased at Stockholm Furniture Fair 2025. Its curved seat, reminiscent of a soft breeze, earned recognition from Architectural Digest France for its poetic form and zero-waste approach. Building on this foundation, her thesis project explores the boundaries of furniture, sculpture and interior objects. Alexandra is drawn to working between disciplines – merging craftsmanship and thoughtful problem-solving to create design that resonates, lasts and matters.
