Anna Haikara has a background in product design within the manufacturing industry, and holds a bachelor’s degree in Product Engineering from Malmö University (2012) as well as a bachelor’s in Interior Architecture and Furniture Design from Konstfack University of Arts, Crafts and Design (2025). Her work is driven by a deep interest in material development and the re-use of found objects. In her projects, she is interested in low-status objects and overlooked interiors. She often draws on local history and forgotten artefacts, bringing them back into the spotlight through her work.
