Felix Johannes Olofsson holds a BFA degree (2023) and an MFA degree (2025) in Wood Oriented Furniture Design from HDK-Valand Campus Steneby in Dalsland. Prior to his design studies, he had a background in information technology and web development. This explains why he places himself at the intersection of the analogue and the digital, the physical and the virtual, as well as the traditional and the modern. In his own design practice, Felix Johannes Olofsson’s primary interest is in generating sentimental value in physical objects. He also enjoys helping others through sharing creative experiences. His MFA degree project revolves around the use of video documentary and online community building as central aspects of design practice. This ongoing project investigates how social media can be used by independent actors as a tool for sustainable design practice in the digital age.
