MDM Talks #7: An interview with Felicia Larsson
In this episode, we talk with the designer Felicia Larsson. In 2022 Felicia graduated from Konstfack, University of Arts, Crafts and Design in Stockholm. For her graduation project, she designed a rocking lounge chair made from handpicked wood. The practice is called "Plockhuggets principer" where particular trees are selected for foresting to foster biodiversity.
This interview is part of a series of talks called Ex-Works Reconnect. In this series, we interview design graduates from different Swedish Design Colleges. We talk about the Swedish education system, collaborations, and what it´s like to work as a new designer in the furniture industry. All interviewed designers have been featured in Möbeldesignmuseum´s exhibitions Ex-Works 2020 or Ex-Works 2022.
