Design Promoter of the year - Svensk Form Stockholm 2019.

In October 2019 the museum was given the award Design Promoter of the year 2019 by Svensk Form Stockholm with the motivation:  ”In just under two years, the museum of furniture studies has established itself as something more than a traditional museum. A new and exciting forum for furniture studies as well as the exchange of experiences and promotion of design. With their passion for the design field, the fire-souls behind the Furniture Design Museum share their experiences and their collection. Design Promoter of the Year 2019 (Formbärare 2019) is Möbeldesignmuseum and its founders Kersti Sandin and Lars Bülow.”
